Technical Assistance

LAW works with justice institutions, law faculties and national partners to strengthen their ability to deliver survivor-centred and effective justice and uphold human rights.

LAW works with justice institutions, law faculties and national partners to strengthen their ability to deliver survivor-centred and effective justice and uphold human rights. These actors are in the best position to identify their own capacity-deficits. Accordingly, LAW supports partners to analyse in which areas technical assistance would be most effective and subsequently co-develops tailored capacity building programmes adapted to the contextual situation and specific need. LAW often places national lawyers side by side with international experts for long-term mentoring and cross pollination of legal strategies and capacity-development.
